About Us

Fabrics to Fabrics made products

Founder of JK Fabrics

Jyothi Krishna Gopigari
At the heart of my work is a simple belief that a fabric should be as pure, meaningful and timeless as the stories it carries.

Our woven fabrics that honor both nature and tradition, fabrics that are gentle on the earth and kind to you.

We are proud to celebrate our fabrics that embody Organic, 100% Pure, Handwoven, Heritage and Artisanal Craftsmanship fabrics. Every piece we provide is rooted in respect, respect for the earth, for cultural heritage, and for the skilled hands that bring these fabrics to life,  breathing new life into traditions while honoring their roots.

Sustainability is our foundation. From responsibly sourced Organic materials to eco-conscious processes, we pick fabrics that embody slow fashion and conscious living.

With us, Nature beauty, Responsibility, and Modern trends are woven together, providing fabrics that inspire the wardrobes of tomorrow.

Vision

A fabric expert can identify fabrics by touch and sight, assess their quality, durability, suitability for specific uses, advise on fabric care, design applications, and sourcing. This expertise blends technical knowledge with creativity, making it valuable in fashion, HandCrafts, interior design, upholstery, and textile innovation.

It involves understanding of:

  • Natural and synthetic fibers
  • Weaving and knitting techniques
  • Dye and finishing processes
  • Fabric behavior under different conditions
  • Sustainability practices in textiles and
  • Embracing new-generation fibers born from nature’s waste like banana, pineapple, hemp, bamboo etc

Becoming a fabric expert is about learning to recognize the story behind every weaving technique.
Practical Workshops and case studies will build the ability to identify fabrics by touch, evaluate quality and apply fabric knowledge in fashion, interiors, and sustainable design.

My vision is to establish myself as a fabric expert, bridging technical expertise with design creativity to develop products that enhance everyday living while supporting eco-conscious and future-focused textile products.

Goals

My goal is to build strong expertise in textiles, progressing from understanding raw fabrics to mastering their application in both Home Textiles and Apparel.

I aim to develop the ability to evaluate quality, design functional and aesthetic products, and apply sustainable practices while keeping up with industry trends.

The main goal is to build expertise that connects the world of raw fabrics to their application in Apparel Home Textiles, and fabrics-based articles.

  • Understand the properties and processes of fabrics, from fibers to finishing.
  • Identify and evaluate fabrics for durability, comfort, and suitability in Home Textiles and Apparel.
  • Apply textile knowledge to design and select materials for curtains, bedding, upholstery, and decor.
  • Apparel, considering factors such as fabric type, texture, durability, comfort, drape, color, and suitability for different garments and fashion applications.
  • Incorporate sustainable and eco-friendly practices into fabric and textile use.
  • Recognize market trends and consumer needs.
  • Demonstrate practical skills in fabric care and handling for long-lasting use.
